It appears that the manufacturer has acknowledged this demand and is set to unveil more refined variants within the standard petrol lineup soon.


Additional Details for the New Variants


In the near future, Toyota is set to introduce the latest mid-spec GX (O) variants, positioned higher than the GX trim, becoming the new top-tier options for the petrol version of the MPV. Available in both 7- and 8-seater configurations, these variants are anticipated to come with a price premium compared to the GX trim, although specific pricing details have not yet been disclosed.


What other features are available with them?



The upcoming GX (O) variants will boast additional features compared to the current GX models, including LED front fog lamps, automatic climate control, a 10.1- inch touchscreen (exclusive to the 7-seater variant), and a rear retractable sunshade (exclusive to the 7-seater variant). Additionally, Toyota will provide the GX (O) 8-seater variant with a slightly smaller 8-inch touchscreen unit.

Regarding safety features, the upcoming GX (O) variant will include a rear defogger, a reversing camera, and front and rear parking sensors. Additionally, the MPV already incorporates standard safety measures such as six airbags, vehicle stability control (VSC), electronic parking brake with auto-hold, and ISOFIX child seat mounts Furthermore, the fully equipped ZX(O) variant in the strong-hybrid lineup will feature advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), comprising adaptive cruise control, lane keeo assist, and rear cross-traffic alert.
