This matte edition of the sedan is based on its top-spec style variant. This latest variant of the Slavia is incorporated with several new features that set new standards in the segment. The matte edition of Skoda Slavia demands an additional Rs 40,000 compared to the top-spec style variants of the sedan.

 

Carbon Steel Matte Grey Shade

The Slavia’s matte edition is also available in a shade called Carbon Steel Matte Grey Shade much like the Skoda Kushaq. Despite its matte exterior, the door handles and beltline finish retain a chrome finish. Apart from this color option, the matte edition of the Skoda Slavia doesn’t showcase any remarkable design changes.

 

New Features

The matte edition of the Skoda Slavia maintains the same black and beige dashboard. Skoda has recently reintroduced the 10-inch touchscreen system on the Slavia, which had been temporarily unavailable due to semiconductor shortage. In addition, the top-spec Style variant of the sedan now possesses electrically adjustable seats for both the driver and co-driver, along with footwell illumination.

 

It also offers a range of other features including an 8-inch digital driver’s display, a single-pane sunroof, ventilated front seats, and cruise control. Safety is a top priority, with up to six airbags, a hill-hold assist, a rear parking camera, electronic stability control (ESC), and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS).

 

Powertrain Details

The matte edition of Slavia comes with two engine options: a 1-liter (115PS/178Nm) and a 1.5-liter unit (150PS/250Nm) turbo-petrol. Both engines come with a 6-speed manual transmission, while the former offers a 6-speed automatic transmission as an option, and the latter provides a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT) option.

In terms of pricing, the Skoda Slavia has now priced from Rs 10.89 lakh to Rs 19.12 lakh (ex-showroom pan India). It competes with models such as the Volkswagen Virtus, Honda City, Hyundai Verna, and Maruti Suzuki Ciaz.
