For the 2024 model year, Kia Seltos has given several updates in response to the market feedback since its facelift in July 2023. Notably, automatic transmission choices are now available for the mid-spec HTK Plus variant, significantly reducing their cost by over a lakh. Additionally, Kia has restructured the features and color selections for the Seltos, enhancing its overall appeal.

Presenting New Automatic Variants

Previously, the Seltos automatic option was available starting from the HTK variant. Kia states that the HTK Plus stands as the most sought-after variant for the Seltos compact SUV, exclusively offering petrol-manual, diesel manual, diesel-iMT, and turbo-petrol iMT powertrains.

Kia has recently expanded its offerings by including the 1.5-liter petrol-CVT and 1.5-liter diesel-AT powertrain options in the lower-spec HTK Plus trim, which were previously exclusive to the HTK variant. Consequently, the automatic choice for the Seltos is now more economical, with savings of up to Rs 1.3 lakh. This enhancement is expected to amplify the attractiveness of the Seltos’ best-selling variant even further.

Feature Updates

The feature lineup of the Kia Seltos has been adjusted, with an increased inclusion of higher variant features starting from the mid-spec variant. The HTK and HTK Plus variants are the ones that get the most significant number of additions.

• The HTK trim now includes LED daytime running lights (DRLs), keyless entry with push-button start, remote engine start/stop functionality, and connected LED tail lamps as part of its features package.
• In the HTK+ variant, advancements include LED fog lamps and reading lamps, along with drive/traction modes exclusive to the automatic transmission option, complemented by paddle shifters. Additionally, this variant features a panoramic sunroof, enhancing its overall appeal and driving experience.
• Starting from the HTX trim level and beyond, all four power windows come equipped with auto up/down functionality, offering added convenience and ease of use for passengers throughout the vehicle.
