What advantages does it offer compared to the standard GX variant?

The newly introduced GX (O) variant of the Innova Hycross offers enhanced comfort and convenience features in comparison to the standard GX trim. It includes a larger 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay, automatic AC, front parking sensors, 360-degree view camera, rear sunshades, front LED fog lamps, and rear defogger. It's important to note, however, that the larger infotainment unit and rear sunshades are available only in the 7-seater configuration.

Previously, buyers would have had to invest approximately Rs 5 lakh more for these amenities in the Hycross hybrid version of the Toyota MPV.

The Toyota Innova Hycross GX (O) variant further enhances the cabin experience with a chestnut-themed soft-touch dashboard and fabric seat upholstery, elevating it to a more luxurious level compared to the GX variant. While this new trim doesn't introduce any additional exterior design elements, it maintains the same 16-inch alloy wheels and dual LED headlights at the front. With these upgrades, the GX(O) variant stands as the top-equipped option available for those seeking a petrol-only Toyota Innova.

The safety package comprises six airbags, electronic stability control, an electronic parking brake with auto hold, ABS with EBD, and ISOFIX child seat anchorage.

Powertrain Details

The petrol-only models of the Toyota Innova Hycross are equipped with a 2-liter turbo-petrol engine generating 174 PS and 205 Nm of torque, paired with a CVT automatic gearbox. Alternatively, the hybrid variants of the Innova Hycross feature a 186 PS strong hybrid powertrain, consisting of a 2-liter petrol engine and an electric motor, alongside an e-CVT automatic gearbox.
