The Night Eagle edition of the Jeep Compass has made its debut in India once again. Initially, launched in 2020, this limited edition made a return with the facelifted SUV in 2022. Now, for 2024, the Compass Night Eagle edition showcases not only several cosmetic enhancements both inside and out but also several additional features.

1. Exterior Changes

 

 

The most latest variant of the Compass Night Eagle edition features a glossy black finish for the grille, fog lamp housing, and roof rails, similar to the previous Night Eagle models. Additionally, Jeep has also equipped it with blacked-out badges on the side fenders along with 18-inch black alloy wheels. The Night Eagle edition of this SUV is available in three exterior colors including, black, white, and red, all of which come with a standard black roof.

 

2. Cabin Updates and Features

 

 

The 2024 Jeep Compass Night Eagle edition exhibits an entirely black cabin theme, featuring black inserts on the door trims. To enhance its feature set, it now includes front and rear dashcams, an air purifier, rear entertainment screens, and blue ambient lighting. This limited-run Compass variant also offers a panoramic sunroof and wireless phone charging among its onboard features.

 

The Compass Night Eagle from Jeep comes equipped with safety features like dual front airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), an electronic parking brake, and a reversing camera.

 

3. Uses The Same Diesel Engine

 

The Compass comes with a 2-liter diesel engine delivering 170 PS/ 350 Nm, paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 9-speed automatic transmission. These identical options are also available for the Night Eagle edition.

 

4. Competitors

 

The Night Eagle variant of the Jeep Compass offers a premium option for individuals seeking a blacked-out mid-size SUV, competing with models like the MG Hector Blackstorm edition and Tata Harrier Dark variants. Also, it provides a sportier aesthetic compared to premium SUVs such as the Hyundai Tucson and Citroen C5 Aircross.
