Hyundai Creta N Line Launched in India here is all you need to know

The Hyundai Creta N Line has been officially released for sale in India, marking the arrival of a sportier iteration of the facelifted Creta SUV.

Available in two primary variants, N8 and N10, here are the details of the pricing as per the variants.

Variant

Price (Introductory ex-showroom pan-India)

N8 MT

Rs 16.82 lakh

N8 DCT

Rs 18.32 lakh

N10 MT

Rs 19.34 lakh

N10 DCT

Rs 20.30 lakh

*DCT - Dual-clutch automatic transmission

Hyundai has positioned the Creta N Line's top-tier N10 DCT at a premium of Rs 30,000 compared to the regular Creta's SX(O) variant. It's worth considering that these introductory prices indicate a temporary price difference between the regular and N-Line variants of the Hyundai SUV, which may fluctuate in the future.

What lies beneath the hood?

The Creta N Line is equipped with the identical 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine delivering 160 PS/253 Nm, found in the top variant of the standard Creta. However, this more athletic N Line SUV offers both 6-speed manual and 7-speed DCT (dual-clutch automatic transmission) options, while the latter exclusively features the 7-speed DCT unit. It claims a mileage range of 18 kmpl with the manual transmission and 18.2 kmpl with the DCT automatic gearbox.

As part of Hyundai's 'N Line' division, the more athletic Creta features a clear suspension configuration, a responsive steering rack system aimed at enhancing handling, and a more vibrant exhaust tone.

Enhanced Sporty Appearance

The Creta N Line showcases distinctive features such as a redesigned grille, modified bumpers with red accents, larger 18-inch alloy wheels paired with red brake calipers, and side skirts adorned with red inserts. Additionally, it boasts several 'N Line' badges and a dual-tip exhaust system.

Inside the Creta N Line, it adopts an all-black interior theme complemented by red accents on the dashboard, upholstery featuring contrast red stitching and red ambient lighting. Hyundai has also equipped it with the N Line-specific steering wheel and shifter.

Other Features

Hyundai has provided the Creta N Line with a range of features including a 10.25-inch touchscreen, dual-zone AC, panoramic sunroof, dual-camera dashcam, an 8-speaker Bose sound system, a 10.25-inch digital driver's display, front seats with ventilation, and wireless charging for phones. Safety features of the sportier Creta include six airbags, a 360-degree camera, and various advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). These features are also available on the higher variants of the regular Creta.

Competitors

The Hyundai Creta N Line competes with models such as the Kia Seltos GTX+ and X-Line, along with the higher-spec variants of the Volkswagen Taigun GT, Skoda Kushaq, and MG Astor.
