BMW X3 M Sport Shadow Edition Debuts with a Price Tag of Rs 74.90 Lakh

The BMW X3 receives the Shadow Edition treatment, joining the lineup of top-spec diesel-powered variants. Priced at Rs 74.90 lakh (ex-showroom), the X3 xDrive20d M Sport Shadow Edition represents the latest offering from the renowned German luxury carmaker.


Here is what you get for the additional Rs 2.40 lakh premium over the regular X3 diesel M Sport variant.


Exterior Details 



As implied by its name, the Shadow Edition features blacked-out elements on its exterior, including a glossy black finish on the BMW signature kidney-shaped grille. It also includes high-glass black window graphics, roof rails, and rear tailpipes. It also comes with a BMW’s Laser Light headlights, accentuated with blue details.


The Shadow Edition will feature 19-inch M alloy wheels with a silver finish, enhancing its sporty appearance alongside the blacked-out details. This special iteration of the BMW X3 will come in two color choices, including, Brooklyn Grey and Carbon Black.


Interior Details 



The Shadow Edition continues its black-themed treatment into the cabin, featuring an all-black interior theme with Vernasca leather upholstery, complemented by contrasting blue stitching.


Additional amenities include a panoramic sunroof, digital driver’s display, 3-zone automatic climate control, rear sunblinds, ambient lighting, wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, heads-up display, and a premium 16-speaker Harman Kardon Surround sound system.


The safety features include six airbags, ABS, dynamic stability control, ISOFIX child seat mounts, and blind spot detection paired with a 360-degree camera.

Powertrain Details


Under the hood, there are no alterations, as the X3 M Sport Shadow Edition retains the same 2-liter four-cylinder diesel engine generating 190 PS of power and 400 Nm of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. Along with the xDrive all-wheel-drive system, this India-specific diesel-powered X3 achieves 0 to 100 kmph in a mere 7.9 seconds, with a top speed of 213 kmph.




In its diesel variants, the BMW X3 rivals models such as the Audi Q5 and Mercedes-Benz GLC. Additionally, there's a sporty X3 M40i variant available, priced at Rs 87.80 lakh (ex-showroom).
